In 2018 I started a travelling monthly market calling it South Coast Makers Market.
My intention was for it to be a happy project to work on during a tough time in my life.
What started as a one off event in my old school hall soon took on a life of its own!
It led me to run markets in lots of places including House of Vans in London, Camp Bestival, Bad Hand Roastery, Arts by the Sea and finding its forever home Bobby’s in the centre of Bournemouth.
South Coast Makers is now a high-street store showcasing handmade work from local and UK makers, artisan foodies and artists.
Our shop is on the LG floor of Bobby’s and is open 10am - 5.30pm everyday, 10.30am to 4.30pm on Sundays. When you’re visiting Bournemouth we’re in the same building as The Botanist, they are on the rooftop and we’re in the Lower Ground with a tunnel leading out to Bournemouth Gardens.
